Xiaomi Redmi K60 May Tag Along With Xiaomi 13 Series

Xiaomi is getting ready for the release of its flagship Xiaomi 13 series of smartphones. But maybe the Xiaomi 13 lineup is not the only one the customers are going to see. Maybe the series with tag along Xiaomi Redmi K60 series. The launch was set to happen later this year. So even the latter will release in December.

Now the key specifications of the vanilla Xiaomi Redmi K60 smartphone have started to surface on the internet. The leak hints that the smartphone might come with the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC ticking at its core.

Xiaomi Redmi K60 Leaked Specs

The leak has been tipped by tipster Digital Chat Station. The upcoming smartphone will feature the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor. The processor is likely to be announced on November 8th. So it is expected that Redmi may begin teasing the new series post after that.

It may come with a 48-megapixel main camera with support for OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Moreover, suggestions are that a couple more cameras may tag along. There will be a 16-megapixel selfie shooter at the front. 

It is expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel. The smartphone may come with a 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W wired fast charging. Also offers 30W wireless fast charging.

It is tipped to boot Android 13 OS out of the box, with the brand’s in-house MIUI skin on top. But, it is yet to be revealed whether the Redmi K60 will come with MIUI 13 or MIUI 14.

Suggested Launch

According to reports, the upcoming smartphone may launch in China as early as next year. It will be the successor of the Xiaomi Redmi K50 series. That was released earlier this year. But there are no hints about the release of the new smartphone in India.
