Xiaomi 12X Moniker Spotted But, There’s a Catch!

Xiaomi is prepping up to launch the Xiaomi 12X smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and 67W fast charging support in the global market shortly. As per the latest leaks by Kacper Skrzypek, a brand new Xiaomi smartphone with the code name “Psyche” can be unveiled in the markets with the official name Xiaomi 12X. The tipster has also shared some primary specifications of the forthcoming Xiaomi smartphone.

Xiaomi 12X specs

Xiaomi handset will arrive with a model number 2112123AC in the Chinese market and with model number 2112123G in the rest of the world. The smartphone was also spotted on the IMEI database website. Plus, on the website, the phone was listed as Xiaomi 12X unveiling the official name of the smartphone.

The Xiaomi 12X phone is currently said to be the successor of the famous Xiaomi Mi 11X. But the leaks also suggest that the phone might not be launched in India. Interestingly, a smartphone with model number 2112123AC has been spotted on the TENAA and 3C certification websites. It will now be exciting to see whether the Xiaomi phone makes it to Indian markets or not.

Additionally, the tipped information hinted that the Xiaomi 12X will feature a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It will also offer a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 certified display. The smartphone could also leave the side-mounted fingerprint scanner for an in-display fingerprint scanner. Although the RAM and storage configurations are yet to be revealed, the smartphone will run on a reliable Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. Kacper also confirmed that the smartphone will have a 50-megapixel primary camera.
