Motorola’s Confusing Update Plan
Motorola’s update rules are hard to follow. Some phones, like the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Motorola Moto Neo, get five updates, but newer Motorola Edge 60 models only get three. Even the fancy Motorola Moto Razr 2025 phones get just three updates. Cheaper phones, like the Motorola Moto G15 and Motorola G15 Power, often get only two updates. Motorola doesn’t always say how many updates a phone will get, even for new models. That is why it is important for the moto customers to know which Motorola Phones Skip Android 16 update.
Other brands, like Samsung, give up to six updates for mid-range phones and seven for top phones. Motorola’s limit of three updates for expensive phones isn’t great. They should give at least five updates for costly phones and three for cheap ones, and they need to be clearer about it. Motorola makes good phones, but their update plan needs work. If your Motorola Phones skip Android 16, think about getting a new one with better update support.
