WhatsApp Games Out Official Chat On Desktop, Do You Know About It?

WhatsApp the Meta messenger app has been frequently developing and rolling out new features for enhancing user experience. The app previously announced the editing messages feature on WhatsApp Desktop beta. Now, it is developing an official WhatsApp chat. It will be on the same platform. However other new features for it will come up in future.

The Development Of New Feature

This new introduction of official WhatsApp chat was revealed after the WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.22.17.10 update came out. This same chat was also seen during the development of the WhatsApp beta for the iOS 22.20.0.71 update.

But the web/desktop client was the specific platform where this conversation was not enabled. However, now the same chat is under development on the WhatsApp Desktop beta.

WhatsApp Official Chat

The app has plan of releasing a verified chat. In this chat, the users will get tips, view announcements, and hear about the latest features. Moreover, the official WhatsApp conversation is read-only and end-to-end encrypted. This means no one can reply to these messages.

But in case users do not want to receive messages from WhatsApp, they need to either mute or block this chat. As this is all for user experience enhancement.

However, the conversation is under development. So there is no exact date for release to beta testers.

Previously meta messenger has rolled out WhatsApp companion mode, the Camera to video switch option, Poll features and many more. The app has been released more frequently as it is focussing on user experience.
