This smartphone runs on FuntouchOS 14 based on the Android 14 operating system. Additionally, it comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card slot.

The smartphone has a 50 MP main camera on the back paired with a 2 MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the Vivo Y38 5G comes with an 8MP camera on the front.
