After several rumors, OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of its flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, in China. The company shared an image of the phone’s back, highlighting its circular camera design with a flash and the Hasselblad ‘H’ branding. It also features a flat metal frame and an alert slider.
OnePlus 13 Launch Event Date
OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 13 in China on October 31 at 4 PM, or 1:30 PM on November 1 (Indian time). This launch happens nearly a month earlier than the OnePlus 12. OnePlus aims to sync the release with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. By launching early, OnePlus wants to showcase its new phone alongside the latest chipset, highlighting its advanced performance and features.

Powerful Features and New Technology – Expected
OnePlus China head, Louis Jie, described the OnePlus 13 as the most powerful and versatile flagship in the brand’s history. He mentioned many “industry firsts” in the device, including the second-generation BOE X2 screen and advanced Hasselblad imaging technology.

The OnePlus 13 will include significant improvements in system performance, gaming, display, battery life, and fast charging. The phone will use the world’s first 2K BOE X2 curved screen with a self-developed display chip, P2. It also features a top-tier DisplayMate A++ screen for high-quality visuals.
The OnePlus 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite (8 Gen 4) chip, offering top-notch performance. It will include a 50MP LYT808 main camera, a 50MP JN5, and a LYT600 3X periscope telephoto camera. The phone will have IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a 6000mAh battery. It supports 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging for quick power-ups.

The OnePlus 13 launch event will reveal three color options: Obsidian Black, inspired by the mysterious dark forest; Blue Moment, with a vegan leather finish inspired by the calm ocean; and White Dew Morning Light, reflecting purity and elegance like dew and snow. These color choices aim to offer users a blend of style and nature-inspired designs.
