Before the commencement of the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale on September 23, Sony is teasing the debut of a new headphone product in India on Amazon. In September previous year, Sony India also unveiled the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones.

Although the teaser does not explicitly state the product’s name, examining the page’s source code reveals that it is “sony/nm/1000XM5” and that the picture on the website has the “1000XM5” name. Additionally, the website’s image mimics the already released Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones. Let’s examine the specifics.

Over-ear headphones from Sony featuring Bluetooth 5.2 wireless communication are the WH-1000XM5. Large 30mm dynamic driver unit on the interiorsupports SBC, AAC, LDAC audio codecs, and A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP sound profiles. The 1000XM5s’ redesigned earcups can now rotate sideways but not inwards like those in the previous generation, and Sony has added the new V1 processor, which unlocks the HD Noise Cancelling processor QN1.
