Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series made waves earlier this year with its impressive lineup of flagship smartphones. The top-end model, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, garnered significant attention for its groundbreaking 10x optical zoom camera. As enthusiasts eagerly explore the capabilities of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, rumours and speculations about its successor, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, have already begun circulating online.
According to a recent report, the purported Galaxy S24 Ultra will come equipped with minor camera upgrades compared to its predecessor. However, fans will have to wait several months as the phone is likely to debut next year alongside the Samsung Galaxy S24 5G and Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus 5G.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Camera Details
Renowned tipster Ice Universe took to Twitter (@UniverseIce) to share new information from Korean media regarding the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera setup. The leak suggests that the upcoming smartphone will feature the same camera configuration as the existing Galaxy S23 Ultra. Thus, showcasing Samsung’s commitment to the already impressive camera system. If the leak is accurate, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will house a powerful 200-megapixel Samsung HP2 primary camera. Along with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX564 ultra-wide lens.
However, the other two cameras on the Galaxy S24 Ultra will reportedly receive minor upgrades from its predecessor. The phone is to include a 12-megapixel Sony IMX754 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. And a 12-megapixel Sony IMX754+ image sensor with 10x optical zoom. In comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra featured a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and another 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom.
Additionally, the handset is likely to feature an LED flash and a laser autofocus unit on its back panel. Other than these, the tipster hasn’t revealed any details about the selfie camera and other specifications. However, we hope to know more about the upcoming handset in the coming days.
