Samsung Galaxy M55 5G Renders Leak, Will Use Snapdragon 7 Gen 1

Samsung will soon launch a new mid-range smartphone in India, the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G. Live images of the phone have leaked previously, but now the complete specifications and high-quality renders have made their way to the internet. A new leak by MSPowerUser showcases the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M55 5G in all its glory ahead of its launch. The successor to the M54 5G will have two colour options: light green and black.

The phone has been listed on the Samsung India support page, with the model number SM-M556D/DS and 8GB of RAM. This suggests it will likely have an imminent launch in the country and could go on sale soon.

M55 5G Leaked Specifications

It will sport a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone’s peak brightness is likely 1,000 nits, and tiny bezels surround the screen.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy M55 will ship with One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 out of the box.

According to the report, it will receive five years of OS updates and security patches. The M55 will also pack Samsung Knox Vault for security apart from an under-display fingerprint sensor.

For optics, the phone will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, there is a 50-megapixel selfie shooter.
