These panels feature a full RGB sub-pixel layout, where each red, green, and blue sub-pixel emits light independently. This is in contrast to the widely used PenTile arrangement, which has fewer sub-pixels per pixel, often compromising visual clarity. The Real RGB setup reduces pixel density loss and enhances sharpness, particularly in text rendering. The goal is to deliver the same crispness as LCDs at the same resolution, while preserving the advantages of OLED, such as high contrast and deep blacks.
