The Xiaomi Redmi K70 Ultra comes equipped with a 5,500mAh battery, so increasing the capacity beyond 7,000mAh in its successor would mark a significant boost in endurance. Even with the Redmi K80 Ultra’s larger battery, leaks suggest it will retain 100W fast charging, ensuring efficient recharging speeds. Additionally, the device is rumored to feature a 1.5K resolution display with an ultra-narrow, four-sided straight-screen design, most likely utilizing an OLED panel.

The device will feature a metal middle frame in its design. Additionally, the leak mentions a “single-point ultrasonic wave,” hinting at the presence of an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which could offer improved accuracy and reliability over optical options.

Redmi introduced the Redmi K70 Ultra in July 2024, powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. Following this pattern, the Redmi K80 Ultra is expected to debut around the same period this year.
