Redmi’s new smartphones, Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus launched in the global market. Both these handsets are budget-friendly. They offer some decent set of specifications such as MediaTek Helio G36 chipset and 5000mAh battery. These are the latest budget-friendly smartphones from Xiaomi. Let’s know the specifications of both smartphones in detail.

Talking about the specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi A2 and Xiaomi Redmi A2 Plus, both specifications are almost the same. The company has not yet given any information regarding the price of these two handsets, but soon their price will be announced.

Both these Redmi smartphones have a 6.52-inch IPS LCD with HD + 1080X720 pixel resolution. For selfies, there’s a drop dot cutout in it. Its aspect ratio is 20:9. Refresh rates of 60Hz have been given in the display.

The handsets powered by MediaTek Helio G36 chipset. Along with this, you will see 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage in it. In this, LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage will be seen. If needed, you can install a 1TB SD card. The smartphone works on the Android 12 Go program.

A triple camera setup is there on the back panel of Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus. The primary camera in it is 8-megapixels. The secondary camera is QVGA. It has a 5-megapixel front camera inside the drop notch. Both these Redmi smartphones have a 5,000mAh battery for power backup, which comes with a standard 10W charger.

Difference between both A2 and A2 Plus

Talking about the difference between these two smartphones in Redmi, the fingerprint scanner is present on the back panel in the Plus variant, while there’s no fingerprint scanner present in Redmi A2.
