Realme, the popular smartphone brand, is all set to launch its latest offering, the Realme C53, in Malaysia on June 6. The upcoming smartphone will join the C-series lineup, following the successful release of the Realme C55 earlier this year in March, which introduced the innovative Mini Capsule feature. The Realme C53 will also sport the Mini Capsule, a unique design element that has drawn comparisons to Apple’s Dynamic Island feature introduced with the Apple iPhone 14 series.
Realme has already listed the C53 on its official website in Malaysia, unveiling the complete specifications of the device. The smartphone will be available in a single configuration and come in two attractive colour options.

Realme C53: Specifications
The Realme C53 boasts a large 6.74-inch display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Along with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, and a peak brightness of 650nits. The device is powered by an unspecified octa-core SoC clocked up to 1.82GHz, paired with an ARM Mali-G57 GPU, as revealed in the official listing. It runs on the latest Android 13 operating system with Realme UI T Edition on top. Thus, providing users with a smooth and intuitive user experience.
In terms of photography capabilities, the Realme C53 features dual 50-megapixel rear camera sensors, enhanced by AI-supported features. The circular dual camera units are slightly raised and housed within a square camera module, alongside an LED flash panel. For capturing stunning selfies and engaging in video calls, the device features an 8-megapixel front camera sensor, neatly placed within a centre-aligned waterdrop notch.
Battery And Storage Configurations
Powering the Realme C53 is a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired SuperVOOC fast charging. Furthermore, the smartphone incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for quick and secure unlocking. Additionally, it comes with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options include GPS, NFC, WiFi, and Bluetooth v5.0. The Realme C53 offers dual nano-SIM support and includes a dedicated microSD card slot. Thus, allowing users to expand the memory by up to 2TB.

Realme’s C53 comes in a single configuration of 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, the device features an expandable virtual RAM feature. Utilizing unused storage space to add up to an additional 6GB of RAM, enhancing multitasking capabilities. Moreover, the smartphone will be available in two appealing colour options, Champion Gold and Mighty Black. With a weight of approximately 182 grams, the phone measures 167.3mm x 76.7mm x 7.49mm. Thus, offering a sleek and compact design.
