Realme 12 Pro Series Launch Date Confirmed, Will Arrive On This Day

Realme is planning to launch its Realme 12 Pro series in India, with the company teasing a launch later this month. The Realme 12 Pro series includes the Realme 12 Pro and the Realme 12 Pro+.

The company has now confirmed the launch date of the Realme 12 Pro series, and here is everything you need to know about it, including its price and specifications.

Realme 12 Pro Series To Launch On January 29

The Realme 12 Pro series will launch globally, including in India, on the date January 29 at 12 PM. Moreover, it will have a periscope lens for the first time, offering 3x zoom optical zoom and 120x digital zoom.

Furthermore, both phones will feature the Sony IMX 890 50-megapixel primary sensor and 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide angle lens. The Realme 12 Pro will sport a 32-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x zoom, while the Pro+ will have a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B with 3x zoom.

Moreover, the Realme 12 Pro will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera, while the Pro+ will feature a 32-megapixel shooter. Furthermore, the Realme 12 Pro 5G will be available in three storage variants: 8GB+128GB,8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB, while Realme 12 Pro+ will be available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB.

The 12 Pro will be available in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue colours, while the 12 Pro+ will go on sale in Explorer Red, Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue.

12 Pro Series Expected Specifications

Both phones will boast a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ curved OLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, they will have an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 2412 x 1080 pixels resolution.

The Realme 12 Pro will use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, while the Pro Plus will utilize the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 with up to 16GB of RAM. Both are likely to run on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 out of the box paired with up to 1TB of storage.

The Realme 12 Pro will sport a 50-megapixel primary, 32-megapixel telephoto and 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens for optics. Moreover, this telephoto lens will offer 2x zoom capability, and the phone will have a 16-megapixel selfie shooter camera.
