Sony has revealed the specifications of its next-generation console, the PlayStation 5 Pro. PS5 Pro brings several upgrades over the base PS5, including faster memory and more storage. PS5 Pro Specifications Unveiled: Major Upgrades Across The Board
According to the specifications listed on the box of the console, the PS5 Pro will use a single custom chip based on AMD’s Zen 2 architecture. PS5 Pro has eight cores and 16 threads and comes with a custom RDNA graphics card with 16.7 TFLOPS of power, which will help in playing those enhanced games.

The PS5 Pro comes with 16GB of GDDR6 memory for the GPU and 2GB DDR5 RAM, up from 1.2GB on the previous model. Similarly, there is 2TB of custom SSD storage compared to 1TB in the previous model.
As for the power consumption, the PS5 Pro sips 390W of power, which is up from the 340W of the PS5 Slim and original. It weighs 3.1 kg and has Ethernet and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity, apart from a bunch of other ports.

It will go on sale from November 7, 2024 and will be available for a price of $699 (approximately Rs.58,804). The list of games includes popular titles including Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Star Wars Outlaws.
