POCO has finally lifted the curtains off of their POCO M4 Pro 5G launch date in India. Today, the brand officially unveiled that the handset will go official in the country on February 15, 2022. The smartphone will be launching as the 5G version of the already existing POCO M4 Pro. The handset is regarded as one of the highest selling mid-ranger devices in India.

Yesterday, noted tipster Yogesh Brar leaked the key specifications of the POCO M4 Pro 5G ahead of its official launch. So, we do know what to expect on that front. From its processor and software to display and battery, Brar has indeed revealed a lot. Without any further ado, let us take quick look at what the upcoming 5G device by POCO has to offer.

As far as specifications are concerned, Brar believes that the handset will offer a 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD display. Yes, no AMOLED display here. However, the display will offer a fast 90Hz refresh rate so, that is a plus.

Under the hood, the upcoming M4 Pro 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC. This 5G octa-core chipset will pair up with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the device will reportedly run on Android 11 with the MIUI 12.5 custom skin on top.

Talking about optics, Brar has revealed that the M4 Pro 5G will feature a dual rear camera setup. The setup will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the handset will offer a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

When it comes to battery, the upcoming POCO M4 Pro 5G will pack a big 5000mAh battery. This rated battery capacity will be pairing up with 33W fast charging tech as well. Moreover, Brar also believes that the handset will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack. Alongside, we will also get to see a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
