Oppo is gearing up to launch its Oppo Reno 12 5G series of smartphones, including the Oppo Reno 12 5G and the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G in India. Both phones will offer AI features and a stylish design. The company has now revealed the launch date of the upcoming smartphones, which will debut in the country soon. Here is everything you need to know about the Oppo Reno 12 5G series launch date.

Oppo Reno 12 5G Series To Launch In India On This Date

Oppo has announced that its upcoming Reno 12 5G series will launch in the country on July 12, 2024. Furthermore, these phones will go on sale via the Oppo India website and Flipkart.

In addition, both phones will sport a similar design to their Chinese counterparts. The back features a triple camera setup housed in a vertical camera module.

The Oppo Reno 12 5G will go on sale in Astro Silver, Matte Brown and Sunset Peach. Similarly, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G will be available in Space Brown and Sunset Gold.

The phones will boast all-round armour protection apart from an IP65 rating. Furthermore, these phones will have AI features like AI Clear Face, AI Writer, AI Recording, and AI Eraser 2.0, promising to be your “Everyday AI Companion”

Reno 12 Series Specifications

The Oppo Reno 12 5G Series will feature a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. Both smartphones have a peak brightness of 1200 nits with Gorilla Glass 7i and Victus 2 protection, respectively.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset will power the Oppo Reno 12 5G series paired with up to 8GB and 12GB of RAM, respectively. It will debut with ColorOS 14, based on Android 14, and ship with up to 512GB of storage.

For optics, you get a 50-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle sensor on the Oppo Reno 12 5G series. Furthermore, the 12 Pro has a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, while the Reno 12 has a 2-megapixel macro lens. Both phones offer 32-megapixel and 50-megapixel selfie cameras.
