OnePlus RT Spotted Here! Hints Imminent India Launch

Just a day before, the possible launch timeline for OnePlus RT leaked online. Rumours and leaks are continuously hinting at a December launch. But a leak yesterday (November 24, 2021) hinted at December 16, 2021. However, the company has not given any confirmation for the same. But as it inches closer to its launch in India, the phone is also surfacing on various platforms hinting at an imminent launch. Now, in a recent development, the phone has surfaced on a OnePlus Care App in India. This is once again hinting at an imminent launch in India – giving all the leaks some weight to it.

Earlier this week, leaks also suggested that the phone might launch alongside the OnePlus Buds Z2 in December 2021. Moreover, previous leaks also hinted at a change in the moniker for the OnePlus 9RT in India that is, OnePlus RT. As we know, the phone already launched in China just months ago. Since then, we have had quite a lot of information on the smartphone. Apart from this, many have been waiting for a confirmation of its launch in India.

As you can see from the above tweet, both Mukul Sharma and 91mobiles are hinting at the possible launch. The publication has found a very interesting spotting for the OnePlus RT smartphone on the OnePlus Care App in India. This is hinting at a possible launch happening soon in India. All of these leaks and this newest leak gives more weight to all the subtle leaks of the smartphone. Meanwhile, lets’ take a look at what we know so far for the handset:

OnePlus 9RT Specifications

As we know, the OnePlus RT sports a 6.62-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a left-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It will pack a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. The device comes along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Optics-wise, the setup will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, the device sports a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. We also get to see a peak brightness of 1300 nits alongside a 600Hz touch sampling rate and an HDR10+ certification. We can expect to see the RT feature with the same specs.
