OnePlus is working on a foldable flip phone that can be equipped with a high-quality camera just like the Samsung Galaxy Z flip series. Oppo and OnePlus may launch new smartphones with telephoto and macro cameras, according to a Chinese tipster.
According to rumours, the next smartphone is likely to be a rebranded version of the upcoming Oppo Find N5 Flip phone. So, it may even take better photos than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. Moreover, TechRadar reported that OnePlus is also hoping to do something similar, as both companies often use the same hardware. So they decided to include the same lens in their first foldable phone.

A tipster with the username “Smart Pikachu” claims in a post on Weibo. Oppo is designing a phone with a telephoto and macro camera. Moreover, it also says that OnePlus’ flagship smartphone will come with the same camera feature.

The companies have not yet announced plans for a new clamshell flip phone. The inclusion of a telephoto lens could be a big step forward for OnePlus and Oppo.
