Samsung has officially started rolling out its latest software update for its flagship smartphones. The One UI 9 for Galaxy S26 series is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S26, Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra after several months of beta testing.
The new update is based on Android 17 and brings several new features, AI-powered tools, and improvements to existing Samsung apps. The rollout has started in different markets, with Samsung’s home market of South Korea reportedly among the first regions to receive the stable update.
The update is being delivered over the air and has a download size of around 650MB, although the size may vary depending on the device and region.
One UI 9 Brings New AI And Camera Features
Samsung has introduced several changes with One UI 9. One UI 9 for Galaxy S26 series has started rolling out. One of the highlighted features is My FanCam, which gives users new ways to create and manage fan camera content.
The company has also improved Now Brief. Users can now create and edit their own Now Brief cards with the help of generative AI. This gives users more control over the information and content shown in the feature.
Samsung has also made changes to Now Nudge. The company says the updated feature requires fewer steps, making it easier to use.
