Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8.5 update. This new software brings fresh Galaxy AI features and smoother performance. Many popular Galaxy phones and tablets will receive it in May 2026.
Devices Getting One UI 8.5 Update
Samsung releases the update in stages. Check if your device is in the list below:
- Galaxy S25 Series (Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, S25 FE)
- Galaxy S24 Series (Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE)
- Galaxy S23 Series (Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE)
- Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7
- Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6
- Galaxy Tab S11 Series and Galaxy Tab S10 Series
To check the update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

How To Download The One UI 8.5 Update
Checking for the update is very easy. Follow these steps:
- Open Settings on your phone
- Go to Software update
- Tap Download and install
If the One UI 8.5 Update is available, your phone will download it. Make sure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and has at least 50% battery. The rollout is gradual, so some users may get it earlier than others.
