The Motorola Edge 70 Neo is set to launch in India soon, and a new Geekbench listing has revealed some key details about the upcoming smartphone. Motorola has not yet announced the exact India launch date, but the benchmark listing gives us an early look at its processor, RAM and Android version.

The phone will arrive as the successor to last year's Motorola Edge 60 Neo. It could also be launched as a rebranded version of the Motorola Edge 70 Plus, according to the report.

The Motorola Edge 70 Neo was spotted on Geekbench 7.0.0, where it scored 723 points in the single-core test and 2,943 points in the multi-core test.

The listing reveals that the smartphone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. The processor has one prime core clocked at 2.50GHz, three cores at 2.40GHz and four efficiency cores at 1.80GHz. It also comes with an Adreno 810 GPU.

The Geekbench listing shows the tested unit with 6GB of RAM and Android 16. However, this may not be the only RAM configuration available when the phone launches in India.

    Specifications Expected

Motorola has already confirmed that the Edge 70 Neo is coming to India, but the company has not revealed its full specifications yet.

Previous leaks suggest the phone could feature a flat display with slim bezels and a centred hole-punch cutout. It is also tipped to arrive in multiple colour options, including dark green, light blue, olive green and pale pink.

The smartphone could also get a triple rear camera setup, with a 200-megapixel primary camera being one of the highlights.

The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 connection is particularly interesting because the global Motorola Edge 70 Plus also uses the same chipset. This has led to speculation that the Edge 70 Neo could be a rebranded version of the Edge 70 Plus for the Indian market.

What To expect From The Motorola Edge 70 Neo

If the Edge 70 Neo does share hardware with the Edge 70 Plus, some specifications could include a 6.78-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 7i protection and a 200-megapixel primary camera.

The Edge 70 Plus also features a 32-megapixel front camera, up to 256GB storage and a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging. However, Motorola has not confirmed that all of these specifications will come to the Edge 70 Neo in India.

For now, the Motorola Edge 70 Neo Geekbench listing confirms that the upcoming phone is being tested with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, 6GB RAM and Android 16. More details should emerge closer to the India launch.
