MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Breaks All Records On AnTuTu Benchmark

MediaTek will soon launch its flagship Dimensity 9300 chipset, competing against the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Apple A17 Pro Bionic. The chipset recently debuted on Geekbench, and now it has created a new record on the AnTuTu benchmark.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 has scored 2,055,084, making it the first phone to cross the 2 million threshold in the benchmark. The octa-core chipset uses 4 Cortex X4 and 4 Cortex A720 chips and has a CPU score of 485,064. The A720 cores have a unique cluster combination of 1+3+4.

Similarly, the GPU scores a spectacular 899,463 in the benchmark. The Memory and UX scores of the processor are 357691 and 312,866, respectively. With impressive scores, the Immortalis G720 GPU could become Android’s fastest GPU.

While there are no details about the exact model and the specifications used to perform the benchmark, it is likely to be a test device. The test phone with Dimensity 9300 running on Android 14 has impressive specifications with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

These scores are a giant leap from the current Dimensity 9200+ processor, and according to tipster Digital Chat Station, it could be even higher in some devices.

Dimensity 9300 Beats Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

It also beats the current champion of Android phones, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. According to GSMArena, the CPU score is 65 per cent faster, the CPU is 55 per cent better, storage is 33 per cent speedier, and the UX score is 50 per cent higher.

However, the Dimensity 9300 could face intense competition as Qualcomm will unveil its flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor later this week. The AnTuTu score of the 8 Gen 3 is yet to be revealed.

According to the Geekbench tests leaked earlier, the Dimensity 9300 scores 2319 in the single-core and 7110 in the multi-core tests. It beats the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which has a single-core and multi-core score of 2234 and 6807, respectively.
