While details about the M5 iPad Pro remain limited, it’s expected to run on Apple’s latest silicon. This will potentially be the first device to feature the M5 chip. The first M5-powered MacBooks usually launch in the first half of 2026.
When To Expect Its Launch?
It was reported last year that the iPad Pro featuring the M5 chip could begin mass production in the first half of 2025. The M4 iPad Pro made its debut in May 2024. And given Apple’s pattern of releasing updated iPad Pro models approximately every 18 months, the next iteration may launch around September or October this year.
