Reliance Jio has announced a new limited-period offer on its JioBharat 4G feature phones, making them available at an effective price of just Rs 299. The offer comes as Jio celebrates 10 years of operations in India and aims to encourage 2G users to move to 4G services.
However, customers will not pay Rs 299 upfront. They will need to purchase an eligible JioBharat phone for Rs 1,499 and receive six months of bundled recharge benefits worth around Rs 1,200. This brings the effective cost down to Rs 299.
