Jio Phone 5G was repeatedly in the news last year. Before, Reliance Jio announced that the company was about to launch the new Phone in India at the 43rd Annual General Meeting in July last year.

Moreover, there were expectations about its launch at this year’s AGM a few weeks back, but it didn’t happen. Now, as the news of the 5G network in India by October is on the internet, so even the new phone launch is expected in the upcoming weeks.

The specification and specific details about the phone have leaked. The 91mobiles have reported the key insights of the affordable phone.

Leaked Specifications Of New Jio Phone 5G

According to the report, the new phone mentions of code name ‘Ganga’. It is under the model number ‘LS1654QB5’. It may come with a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen.

As per the leaks, the new phone will have charge of Snapdragon 480 processor, which is Qualcomm’s entry-level 5G SoC. It has assumptions to have a 90Hz refresh rate. They may even offer 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage.

It may even come with a 5,000mAh battery life and 18W fast charging support. The phone will have a dual rear camera on the backside. The main camera will be a 13megapixel and 2megapixel secondary lens.

On the front side, it will have an 8megapixel shooter. It will run on Android12. The assumptions are that it may come with a full version of the Android OS rather than the Android Go edition.

The other features will include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth5.1, and Syntiant NDP115 always on – AI processor. The new phone will have an entry-level look and various features. It is priced between Rs. 8,000-Rs.12,000.

The launch date is expected soon after the 5G services start in India.
