Following Airtel’s move, Jio Platforms has entered into a partnership with SpaceX. It aims to explore the deployment of Starlink’s satellite broadband services in India. The collaboration is contingent upon SpaceX obtaining the required regulatory approvals to launch Starlink operations in the country. The partnership seeks to explore ways in which Starlink’s satellite broadband can enhance Jio’s current services while also examining how Jio can support SpaceX’s direct-to-consumer and enterprise solutions. Jio SpaceX To Bring Starlink To India
Jio plans to make Starlink equipment available through its retail stores and online channels.

The partnership aims to combine Jio’s vast data infrastructure with SpaceX’s low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network to expand broadband connectivity across India, particularly in underserved rural and remote regions.
Additionally, Jio will provide Starlink hardware through its existing distribution network and set up a dedicated customer support system to assist with installation and activation.
