However, Santa Monica has allegedly dropped hints about the game being on track for release in 2022. It stands to reason that the game might receive a release date announcement sooner rather than later.

The game is a massive needle-mover from PlayStation platforms since it is one of the most high-profile titles from PlayStation Studios and is a great hit. Unfortunately, God of War Ragnarok got an announcement simultaneously with the PlayStation 5.

Despite this, the game’s release was late for several reasons. One of which was because the actor who plays Kratos, Christopher Judge, got hurt during the game’s production. However, it would seem at this point that the game will come within this year. Fans are looking forward to receiving further details on Friday.
