Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro series could be significantly more expensive than the current generation, if a new price prediction turns out to be accurate. A leaked pricing list shared online claims that the iPhone 18 Pro could start at $1,299, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max could start at $1,399.
That would put the starting prices at roughly Rs 1.24 lakh and Rs 1.33 lakh, respectively. However, these are rumoured prices, and Apple has not confirmed them yet.

According to the price list, the Apple iPhone 18 Pro could be offered in four storage options. The base model may start with 256GB storage instead of a lower-capacity option.

iPhone 18 Pro Max Could Be Even More Expensive
The Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to sit above the Pro model. The same price prediction suggests a starting price of $1,399, or around Rs 1.33 lakh after direct currency conversion.
Its predicted prices are:
- 256GB: $1,399 - around Rs 1,33,440
- 512GB: $1,599 - around Rs 1,52,515
- 1TB: $1,799 - around Rs 1,71,590
- 2TB: $2,299 - around Rs 2,19,280
This would make the 2TB Pro Max a phone costing more than Rs 2.19 lakh after simple currency conversion.
There is already considerable uncertainty around iPhone 18 Pro pricing. Recent reports have suggested everything from a moderate $100 increase to a much larger $250-$300 hike. Reports estimates of around $1,199 for the Pro and $1,299 for the Pro Max, while other reports point to prices closer to $1,299 or higher for the Pro.
In India, recent reports have placed the iPhone 18 Pro Max around Rs 1.60 lakh to Rs 1.70 lakh for the 256GB version, although Apple has not confirmed these figures.
For now, the $1,299 starting price for the iPhone 18 Pro should be treated only as a prediction. Apple is expected to reveal the new Pro models at its September 9 event, when the official prices should finally become clear.
