Apple is gearing up to release the upcoming iOS 18 update soon. This update will bring various new features, including AI capabilities, to make it on par with Samsung’s Galaxy AI and Google’s Gemini. Furthermore, a new leak has revealed a glimpse of Apple’s LLM (Large Language Learning Model) that will power these upgrades and what we can expect from it. Here is everything you need to know about the iOS 18 update leak.
iOS 18 To Bring New AI Model Called Ajax

Ajax will use on-device processing to instantly provide quick and accurate replies to all queries. Furthermore, it can analyze text and offer various replies depending on the context.
This new LLM model in the iOS 18 leak indicates it will be able to identify keywords and phrases to provide a summary of an article or message. Furthermore, the Intelligent Search feature will give users a gist of a long article they are reading.

In addition, Siri will also take advantage of these upgrades that Ajax will bring to provide a summary or response to a message. Most of these tasks will utilize on-device processing, while others will rely on cloud processing.
In addition, the iOS 18 leak claims that on-device processing will also enhance user privacy as data won’t have to be sent to the cloud servers for the majority of the tasks. Ajax will compete against GalaxyAI and Google’s Gemini, which boast similar features. We can expect more details at Apple’s WWDC event in June.
