The update also brings satellite connectivity to select iPhone 13 models. However, this isn’t the same as the Globalstar-powered emergency features found on the iPhone 14 and newer. Instead, it relies on carrier-based solutions—like Starlink Direct from SpaceX, available to T-Mobile users in the U.S.
