Samsung has increased the price of its Galaxy S26 flagship smartphone in India by up to Rs 12,000. This is the first major price revision for the Galaxy S26 since its launch earlier this year. The new prices will come into effect from September 20, pushing the starting price of the phone close to the Rs 1 lakh mark.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 price hike applies to both storage variants. The 12GB RAM and 256GB model, which launched at Rs 87,999, will now cost Rs 99,999. The 512GB version will also become Rs 12,000 more expensive.

The timing of the increase is also notable as Apple's iPhone 17 now starts at Rs 99,900 in India. This means the Galaxy S26 and iPhone 17 now have almost identical starting prices.
