Samsung is reportedly set to expand its foldable smartphone portfolio with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8 at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, widely expected to take place in London on July 22.

Now, according to recent leaks, consumers may gain access to the new devices shortly after the official announcement. Taking the timeline of a fortnight, which was seen during earlier launches, we can expect the Galaxy Fold 8 series' first sale to start around 5 August 2026.

- Likely powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 chipset.
- Fold 8 Ultra may feature a 200MP primary camera, similar to Samsung’s Ultra smartphones.

- Battery capacities are rumoured to be around 4,400mAh–5,000mAh, depending on the model.
