Apple iPhone SE 2022 (iPhone SE 3) is the Apple’s most cheap smartphone that has quietly doubled in price. The SE 5G’s basic model now costs Rs 6,000 more thanks to the firm. Earlier this year, the iPhone SE 2022 went on sale in India at Rs 43,900. The SE 2022 is still on sale for Rs 49,900 months after its release. The price increase was disclosed a day after Apple revealed the Apple iPhone 14‘s starting price in India, which is Rs 79,900 for the base model.

Although the corporation withheld the official justification for the price increase, it is safe to presume that it was caused by the widening rupee-to-dollar exchange rate. In addition, the cost of components and logistics may have increased, which might have affected the pricing.

iPhone SE 2022 Price in India Increased

All three of the storage options for the iPhone SE 2022 have seen price increases from Apple. The entry-level model costs Rs 49,900 and has 64GB of internal storage.

The SE 2022 is still available from Apple in the colours Midnight, Starlight, and PRODUCT [RED].

The 4.7-inch Retina display of the SE 2022 is one of its specs. Around the display, it features large top and chin bezels. Apple has stuffed an A15 Bionic chipset, which is built on a 5nm technology and is also featured in the Apple iPhone 13 series, and the Home Button for Touch ID is housed in the chin bezel.

A 12-megapixel main camera with an LED flash is located on the rear. There is a 7-megapixel front camera as well. The SE 2022 has a camera with features including Deep Fusion, HDR4, and Photographic Styles. It comes pre-installed with iOS 15 and will receive the iOS 16 upgrade on September 12. The SE 2022 also has an IP68 certification for protection to dust and water ingress.
