BGMI 3.0 Update Features: What To Expect

BGMI will soon receive a new 3.0 update, bringing new features, gameplay changes, guns, maps and more. The upcoming update will bring a new Shadow Force theme and is likely to arrive by the end of this month.

The global version of the game, PUBG Mobile, has received its 3.0, and we can expect similar features in BGMI soon. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming 3.0 update features and all the changes it will bring.

BGMI 3.0 Update Features: Shadow Force Mode, Katana & More

Similar to the recently released PUBG Mobile 3.0 update, the upcoming BGMI update will have new features, including a new Shadow Force Mode. This is a new mode that introduces a respawn system with special weapons.

It will be available on the Erangel map, where players can respawn within the first 8 minutes. The mode will also bring a new weapon called Shadow Blade, aka Katana, with unique abilities and a cooldown system.

The Shadow Force Mode will also have a new Skytether Hook that will allow players to propel themselves into the air in a straight line. Players also have the opportunity to glide in the air by deploying a parachute.

Similarly, the Proxy Scout item is reconnaissance and distracting enemies. Moreover, the developer has redesigned some map areas, such as Georgopol, Prison and Yasnaya Polyana.

Furthermore, the Metro Royale update will also bring a new Arctic Base map, a 2×2 km area map full of snow. It has plenty of mountains and trenches, offering players new opportunities to ambush their enemy with vertical zip lines.

This map also has a new TR-2A Air Gun, which can fire steel balls with compressed air. There are also changes to the bolt action sniper rifle, allowing it to penetrate through vests and damage multiple enemies.

Moreover, players can heal themselves with bandages while driving a car or use energy drinks to restore their energy. Maps like Miramar, Erangel and Livik will also get scooters.

Apart from this, there are other minor changes to improve the basic movement controls. There are improvements in the animation for basic movement, climbing, falling and ADS for an enhanced gameplay experience.
