    In an interview with Techlusive, Arnold Su, the Vice President of ASUS India, revealed the company will bring a successor to the ROG Ally “sometime later this year”. Moreover, he also revealed the ROG Ally successor will run on Windows with a greater focus on gaming features.

    He also stated that ASUS ROG Ally has seen tremendous success in India, with sales of around 70,000 to 80,000 units. Furthermore, India was one of the few countries to buy the ROG Ally early, unlike other developed countries with higher PC users.

    Arnold further revealed that the gaming market is growing in India, with demand for gaming laptops outpacing gaming desktops. While the market share for branded manufacturers isn’t huge, it is slowly increasing daily.

    The executive also shared that ASUS will expand its manufacturing capabilities in India and start making Gaming PCs in the country. The ASUS ROG Ally currently retails for Rs.52,990 for the Z1 model, while the Z1 Extreme model costs Rs.68,9990 in India.

    The ROG Ally is available in the country with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD on board. It runs on Windows 11 Home out of the box and has a 7-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
