Apple launched their Apple Watch Series 7 in September, 2021. Right after launch, its successor, the Apple Watch Series 8, started making rounds of the internet as well. The design renders of the Series 8 have now surfaced online. Going by the renders, it does not really bring that exciting news.
When it comes to Apple smartwatches, a lot of people have been expecting to see something different in terms of design. Previously, when the Apple Watch Series 7 renders were revealed, we got to saw a boxy design. This was much like the iPhone 12 design. However, the Series 7 ended up retaining the circular design. That led to tipster believing it may be the Apple Watch Series 8 render after all. Now, that does not seem to be the case either.

Apple Watch Series 8 Design Renders
LeaksApplePro, going by CADs and leaked images via PhoneArena reveal that the Series 8 may be retaining the circular design as well. The only difference revealed via the latest renders is the speaker grille. As per the renders, the speaker grille has been split in two halves. Instead of a long bar of grille, we see two smaller grilles placed on top of one other.

In addition, industry insider Ross Young reveals that the Series 8 may also be bigger in size. Young also states that the upcoming smartwatch may get significant upgrades in terms of sensors. One of these is the Blood Glucose monitoring sensor. This particular sensor will be a great replacement for the invasive methods for all millions of diabetes patients out there.
Other great upgrades will be a fertility sensor and a body temperature sensor. Moreover, we will also get to see enhancements made to the Sleep Tracking and ECG sensors on the Series 8.
