A20 Pro leaks are giving Apple fans an early look at what could be one of the company’s biggest iPhone chip upgrades yet. A new social media post claims that Apple’s upcoming A20 Pro processor could deliver notable improvements in CPU and GPU performance, along with better efficiency.

Apple has not confirmed the claims, so treat them as early leaks rather than official specifications. However, they broadly match other recent reports pointing to a major redesign for the chip. Apple is expected to use the A20 Pro in its upcoming Apple iPhone 18 Pro models and possibly its first foldable iPhone.

    Leaked A20 Pro specifications:

    • 10% higher single-core performance
    • 20% higher multi-core performance
    • 30% better efficiency
    • Geekbench 6 single-core: 4,345+
    • Geekbench 6 multi-core: 12,850+

Other reports also point to Apple using TSMC's next-generation 2nm process for the A20 Pro. The chip may also use a new Wafer-Level Multi-Chip Module (WMCM) packaging design, which could improve heat management and memory performance.

GPU And AI Performance Could Get A Boost

The leak also claims that the A20 Pro will bring a 20% to 30% improvement in overall GPU performance, including AI-related workloads. It also mentions ray tracing, suggesting Apple could continue pushing stronger graphics capabilities for gaming and advanced applications.

    • GPU performance: 20–30% improvement claimed
    • AI/GPU compute: Expected improvement
    • Ray tracing: Mentioned in the leak
    • Efficiency: Up to 30% improvement claimed

A larger Neural Processing Unit has also been suggested by earlier A20 Pro leaks, which could help Apple improve on-device AI features.

For now, the A20 Pro leaks remain unverified. Apple has not officially announced the chip or confirmed these benchmark numbers. Still, if the claims prove accurate, the A20 Pro could give the next-generation iPhone a meaningful boost in speed, graphics and battery efficiency.
