Motorola Edge 30 Pro Design
Because of its glass sandwich construction, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro seems expensive. For the Edge 30 Pro, Motorola has employed a plastic frame that doesn’t look right. The phone would have been much heavier if it had been built of metal. The Edge 30 Pro weighs in around 196 grams, which is enough to make it noticeable.
Motorola has curved the edges of the back to improve grip. There is a noticeable melting effect on the sides of the camera module, which merges into the rear panel. When put on a level surface, this gadget does not move much. The rear of the phone has a glossy Motorola logo in the centre, making it easy to see.
The front of Motorola’s phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 despite the rear being Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which is unusual. To accommodate the 60-megapixel selfie camera, the panel has narrow boundaries and a tiny hole. The Edge 30 Pro has dual speakers and is water-resistant to IP52 standards, making it an excellent choice for mild outdoor use.
The fingerprint scanner for the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is built into the power button on the right side of the device. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack on this phone.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro Display
It has a 6.7-inch 10-bit OLED display with a Full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixel) resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate on the Edge 30 Pro’s front. In addition to HDR10+ certification, the panel’s brightness can be increased to 700nits. In addition to supporting the DCI P3 colour space, the display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro Performance
Edge 30 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. There are 13 5G bands supported by the phone, so it can easily link up with the 5G bands and enjoy the blazing-fast speeds they provide. There is a 30 per cent increase in performance compared to prior generation phones, according to Motorola. Motorola Edge 30 Pro comes pre-installed with Android 12 and will get two years of Android upgrades from Motorola. Unfortunately, it only comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro Camera
There are three back cameras and an LED flash on the Edge 30 Pro. An OmniVision OV50A40 50MP sensor with an F1.88 aperture and OIS is the device’s main camera. To go along with the 50MP sensor comes an F2.2 aperture 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Macro photography is also possible thanks to the ultra-wide-angle lens, which can go as close as 2.5cm away from the subject. An additional F2.4-equipped 2MP depth sensor completes the package.
The Edge 30 Pro has a 60MP camera with an F/2.2 aperture for selfies. At 24 frames per second, the rear camera can capture 8K footage and 4K films at 60 frames per second. At 24fps, the front-facing camera can capture 8K footage.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro Battery
The Edge 30 Pro has a 4,800mAh battery and a 68W TurboPower quick charge. In addition, it has 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging capabilities. The phone has a Type-C charging connector and a dual speaker system, but no 3.5mm audio jack.
Motorola Ede 30 Pro Verdict
Without a doubt, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro is worth the Rs 49,999 asking price; the phone excels in almost every department, including CPU, battery capacity, aesthetics, charging time, wireless charging, display, and even cameras. You will be pleased with the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, which is an excellent choice if you’re searching for a powerful smartphone with a superb camera at a reasonable price of Rs 49,999.
