iQOO 9 Pro Launch in India 

The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro smartphones were launched in China earlier this month, and the series is now available in India. On February 23, the Chinese smartphone company launched the iQOO 9 series in India. Speaking of the iQOO 9 Pro, the smartphone was launched with a  4700mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging. Also, the device arrived with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a 3D Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a triple 50-megapixel GN5 back camera system.  Let’s take a look at all other features to know what it has got for the users. 

iQOO 9 Pro Price in India 

The iQOO 9 Pro is priced at Rs 64,990 for the 8GB/256GB variant and Rs 69,990 for the 12GB/256GB variant in India. It is available in two colour schemes, which include Legend and Dark Cruise. Pre-orders for the phone will begin on February 23rd through Amazon, with the company giving a Rs 6,000 immediate discount on EMI transactions made with an ICICI Bank credit card, a Rs 4,000 exchange incentive, and no-cost EMI. This effectively reduces the price to Rs 58,990.

iQOO 9 Pro Design 

Triple cameras are located on an island that covers almost the whole top part of the back panel on the new 9 Pro series. The module has a very tiny protrusion that will not cause any issues for end-users or other stakeholders. In addition, the two wide-aperture sensors on the cameras are notable. An aluminium alloy frame is used in the device’s construction.

For the most part, the iQOO 9 Pro series preserves its previous colour scheme, including that of the Motorsport edition. White glass and traditional carbon fibre textures are also included in this version of the iQOO 9.

Using the matte AG splicing technique, a micro-film condensing AG process is applied to the glass surface, resulting in a textured pattern with the appearance of two different colours and a rough feel. The ultrasonic 3D wide-area fingerprint sensor in the iQOO 9 series unlocks the smartphone in 0.2 seconds and requires just a single entry.

iQOO 9 Pro Display 

iQOO 9 Pro has a curved 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with a 1.7mm thin bezel. The  LPTO technology is included in the Pro model, enabling the device to run at high refresh rates and display resolution without draining the battery. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a brightness of up to 1500nits, and a colour gamut of 100% P3.

iQOO 9 Pro Performance 

IQOO 9 Pro runs on the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which is based on the innovative 4nm manufacturing technology. There is an overclocked version of UFS 3.1 storage as well as the new X2 super core included in the chip. It has up to 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM. The model has an independent display chip Pro, which provides a smooth and refreshing gaming experience with high frame rates and low power consumption. FuntuchOS 12 Ocean is pre-installed over Android 12.

iQOO 9 Pro Camera 

It has a 50MP triple-camera arrangement with an LED flash on the back of the phone, which is a nice touch. The phone’s main camera is identical to the one on the vanilla model. A 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.27 aperture is included in the phone. Also included is an OIS-equipped 16MP portrait lens with an f/2.23 aperture and 60mm focal length. It has a 16MP camera with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies.

iQOO 9 Pro Battery 

In comparison to a gadget of this size and pricing, the 4,700mAh battery seems to be a little lacking. However, it makes up for this with 120W of rapid charging capabilities, of which 50W is wireless, as well as 10W of reverse charging support.

iQOO 9 Pro Verdict
