A major step forward for Honor, the Honor 50 is the first phone to include Google Play Services in quite some time. Honor introduced the Honor V40 series in China late last year after formally separating from Huawei. A second China-only launch event in June saw the unveiling of three additional devices: the Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro, and Honor 50SE. The Honor 50 has now been released in western regions by the firm, and the major news is that both handsets now come preloaded with Google Play Services. The Honor 50 has a complete Western release and can be bought in Germany, France, Finland, the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom. Other European nations will also be able to get their hands on this one owing to Amazon. The variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost €529 (about $615), while the one with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will cost €599 (approximately $695).
Frost Crystal, which the business claims “is inspired by snow crystals and provides a lovely diamond-like finish,” Honor Code, which includes the corporate emblem across the back cover, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black are the colour options available.
Honor 50 features an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the smartphone comes is powered by the Snapdragon 778G platform. There is a 108MP Quad-rear camera setup and support for 66W fast charging. Honor has stuffed this smartphone with a 32MP selfie camera along with Magic UI OS.
