Google’s next big thing is Pixel 5. Probably the only one in the Pixel 5 series since the Pixel 5 XL is unlikely to happen as per the sources. Pixel 5 gets most of the things right such as the major design overhaul, a larger battery life, a powerful camera setup with underlying highly-optimized algorithms that excel at producing the most desired photos and images you would think of.

Google Pixel 5 Price in India

Google hasn’t confirmed the price tag that the Pixel 5 will be launched with. As per the expected pricing, the phone will carry a price tag of around Rs.79,990/- which loosely translates to $1,077 in USD although a different set of pricing states that the phone will carry a price tag of $699. So the price of Google Pixel 5 still remains a mystery until it is launched.

Google Pixel 5 is the successor of the Pixel 4 series. Google has redesigned the Pixel 5. The phone doesn’t have thick bezels around the edge which is a relief now. The display is edge-to-edge design with bezels around the edge although the chin is still considerably thick. There’s a punch-hole to the top-left corner that helped get rid of top bezels. The rear has a dual-camera setup on the top-left corner enclosed within a square-shaped camera bump.

A circular-shaped fingerprint scanner right next to the camera bump and there’s a Google logo at the bottom. As with previous Pixel devices, there’s a white accented power button on the right side on its Just Black colour variant.

Google Pixel 5 arrives with a 5.8” AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The display has a punch-hole cut-out for the front camera. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ that improves viewing experience and has smooth motions & transitions thanks to the higher refresh rates. There’s Always-On Display which is one of the important features on flagship phones right now.

Google Pixel 5 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor which is known to be more powerful than the Snapdragon 720G and 730G. It has eight cores of which one is clocked at 2.4GHz, 1×2.2GHz, and 6×1.8GHz arrangement. It is flanked with Adreno 620 GPU that handles the graphics rendering on the device while the whopping 6/8GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage tech on-board.

The device arrives with Android 11 out-of-the-box and rests assured as it is covered with three consecutive updaters for sure.

Pixel series cameras are the best hands down. The device packs in a dual 12.2MP primary sensor with OIS, dual-pixel PDAF, 1.4micron pixel size, and it is paired along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The rear camera can produce 4K resolution videos at 30fps while yanking it up to 120fps at 1080p.

On the front, Pixel 5 gets an 8MP primary camera with 1.12micron pixel size with Auto-HDR and 1080p videos at 30fps and it is housed in a punch-hole cutout on the top-left corner.

Google Pixel 5 comes with a hefty 4,000 mah battery which is larger than its predecessor Pixel 4 XL, but average according to the market standards. It comes with 18W fast wired charging tech and wireless charging on the go allowing users to charge their Pixel 5 faster. It is compatible with USB Power Delivery 2.0 and comes with USB Type-C 3.1 port.

Google Pixel 5 is the latest edition in the Pixel series. It has a larger battery while the device is paired with one of the most powerful mobile cameras thanks to its highly-optimized algorithms that work under the hood to produce the best quality shots. Of course, you will have to face the fact that it has an underpowered processor (SDM765G) but rest everything is up to the point.
