Gionee P50 Pro Launch in India

Gionee has introduced a new smartphone to the market that’ll be known as the Gionee P50 Pro. Although it attempts to give off the impression that it is a high-end gadget, it only provides customers with basic features. The gadget has a large notch that is reminiscent of those seen on iPhones as well as a camera housing that is analogous to the one found on the Huawei P50 Pro.  The pricing, technical specs, and feature list for the Gionee P50 Pro are all listed here for your convenience.

Gionee’s official website in China does not provide any information on the price or availability of the latest Gionee P50 Pro. JD.com, a Chinese e-commerce website, is now featuring it on its site. According to the online webpage, the Gionee P50 Pro’s most basic configuration, which includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, can be purchased for CNY 659. This equates to around Rs. 7,600.

The base model, with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, can be purchased for CNY 739 (about Rs. 8,600), then the most expensive model, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, can be purchased for CNY 759. (roughly Rs. 8,800). Crystal, Bright Black, and Dark Blue are the three colour variants that may be selected from when purchasing one.

Gionee P50 Pro Design

Gionee’s most recent smartphone, the P50 Pro, is a work of art in terms of its design. The front of the Gionee P50 Pro is reminiscent of the iPhone 13’s design, while the rear is reminiscent of Huawei’s flagship. It expertly combines the Huawei P50 Pro and the Apple iPhone 13, two of the most recognisable flagship smartphones of the year 2022.

The mobile device has the appearance of a box and includes a fingerprint scanner that is located on the device’s side. Within a cavity in the form of a pill, there are two large circular camera sensors arranged in a vertical orientation. Again, this is a first for a phone in this price range: the camera cutouts each include five sensors.

In addition, it weighs 211 grams and has dimensions of 165 by 77.3 by 8.9 millimetres. This means the Gionee P50 Pro is a hefty device and not suitable for single-handed usage.

The Gionee P50 Pro is a smartphone with features that are suitable for beginners. The screen on the Gionee P50 Pro is 6.517 inches and has a resolution of full HD. The screen-to-body ratio is 93%, and the aspect ratio is 20:9. The front-facing camera is housed inside a large notch in the display, much to the one on the Apple iPhone 13.

In addition, specifics like the core chipset and graphics processing unit (GPU) have not been disclosed as of yet. The mobile device is driven by a multi-core CPU of undetermined origin and has up to 6 gigabytes of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of up to 128 gigabytes.

The Gionee P50 Pro is a device that is only capable of a 4G connection and has features such as on-the-go (OTG), wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, and a charging connector that is compatible with the USB Type-C standard.

Gionee P50 Pro Camera

The main sensor on the Gionee P50 Pro is a 13-megapixel unit, and it is housed in a module that resembles a capsule on the back of the phone. There is no information available on the rest of the rear sensors. The rear camera unit is capable of supporting a wide variety of camera settings, some of which are macro shot, HD night shot, and portrait beauty lens amongst others. A sensor with 5 megapixels is included for use in taking selfies.

Gionee P50 Pro Battery

The battery has a capacity of 3,900 mAh, however, there is no information available on its ability to charge quickly. Given the current standard, the low-capacity battery isn’t impressive at all and it would have been better to add a 5000 mAh battery instead.

Gionee P50 Pro Verdict

There is not a single impressive feature that can be found on the Gionee P50 Pro, and the smartphone just provides fundamental specifications to its consumers. If the product is going to be sold in India, the corporation should try to keep its pricing at or below 10,000 rupees (INR); if not, there is a good chance that it will be an absolute mess in the competitive smartphone market there.
