Asus Zenfone 9 Launch in India

The Asus Zenfone 9 is Asus’s newest and strongest flagship smartphone, and it was unveiled for the year 2022. To put it simply, the Asus Zenfone 9 is the follow-up to the Zenfone 8 (which was released in 2021).  The Asus Zenfone 9 maintains the sleek design and one-handed usage that made the Zenfone 8 so popular. Let’s take a look at the Asus Zenfone 9 specifications and pricing details.

Asus Zenfone 9 Price in India

Asus ZenFone 9 price is 799 Euros (roughly Rs. 64,800) for the most basic configuration of 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. In addition, the device is available in a variant with 8GB  of RAM and 256 GB of storage space, as well as one with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. It comes in a variety of colours, including Moonlight White, Midnight Black, Starry Blue, and Sunset Red, to choose from.

In Taiwan, consumers will initially only be able to buy the ZenFone 9 in its most basic configuration; other configurations may be pre-ordered in the meanwhile. Unfortunately, we still don’t know how much it will cost or when it will hit additional areas.

Asus ZenFone 9 price in India is expected to be Rs. 64,490. It is for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal base storage variant. However, the launch in India is not known yet. 

Asus Zenfone 9 Design

The Asus Zenfone 9 has an appealing design. The phone’s 5.9-inch screen makes it relatively compact compared to other smartphones nowadays, and its 169 grams of weight are particularly striking. There are additional ways in which the design stands apart. Consider the ending. Asus claims that the Zenfone 9’s unique polymer coating is far more scratch-resistant than standard phone materials.

Finally, the safety measures used here are of the highest possible quality. The screen is protected by the most recent generation of Gorilla Glass called Victus, and the whole device is rated at IP68 for protection from dust and round water.

Asus Zenfone 9 Display

The 5.9-inch screen is the dominant driver in the Zenfone 9’s compact form factor. This is much smaller than current flagships, several of which are above 7 inches in size. The Zenfone 9’s display packs a powerful punch. It’s an AMOLED screen that can refresh at 120 hertz, has a resolution of Full HD+, and is HDR10+-compatible. Asus claims a peak brightness of 1100 nits, which is more than enough light to operate even in broad daylight.

Asus Zenfone 9 Performance

Asus decided to outfit the smartphone not just with a blockbuster processor, but more particularly with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is often seen in gaming smartphones and flagship devices. In addition, the smartphone can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, giving you a device that is not just robust for its size but also an absolute behemoth.

The Zenfone 9 comes preloaded with Android 12 and Asus’ Zen UI. The skin is rather basic, and the phone otherwise seems to be running stock Android. Also, it relies heavily on Google’s existing core apps, with just a few Asus additions.

Asus Zenfone 9 Camera

The Zenfone 9’s camera may be its weakest point when compared to other high-end smartphones, while this is subjective and depends on your needs. Only two back lenses, a 50Mp primary camera and a 12Mp ultrawide have been added by Asus. No special lenses like telephoto or periscope are included, and a macro setting is not available. Asus sets itself apart by including a six-axis gimbal technology in addition to the sensor’s native OIS compatibility for even more refined steadiness.

There is a 12-megapixel camera located on the front of the device, which functions admirably for the most part. A maximum of 4K video at 30 frames per second can be captured by the selfie camera, while an 8K video at 24 frames per second is achievable by the rear-facing camera.
