HMD Global is more active now than it was before seven or eight months ago. The smartphone brand is launching new devices one after another, belonging to either mid-range or affordable price range. HMD Global has recently launched a new smartphone in Europe, the Nokia C1 Plus, which is the cheapest one from the brand for this year. The new Nokia C1 Plus brings the stock Android interface and this smartphone is the successor of Nokia C1. So let us check what this entry-level smartphone has got for us.

Nokia C1 Plus Price in India 

In Europe, the Nokia C1 Plus costs 69 Euros, which turns into Rs.6,000. For now, the Nokia C1 Plus is available in European markets only and yet there is no official confirmation about its availability in India. The device comes in two colour options, Blue and Red.

The smartphone brand has kept it simple with the Nokia C1 Plus. There is a polycarbonate body, featuring a shiny paint on the rear panel in two colours. You won’t see any pattern or design on the back, which gives this smartphone a subtle look. With 146 grams of weight and 8.75mm of thickness, the device will feel good in your hand.

There is no fingerprint sensor in this device. On the front, there are thick bezels at the top and bottom of the Nokia C1 Plus and the power button and volume rockers are placed on the right side of this smartphone. The 3.5mm headphone jack is on the top, while the USB 2.0 charging port is at the bottom.

You can’t expect a heavy screen at this price level and to keep the total amount intact, Nokia C1 Plus is featuring a basic 5.45 HD+ display along with an aspect ratio 18:9, for ensuring good visuals. You won’t see any notch or punch-hole on the display.

The entry-level smartphone from the HMD Global is offering multiple features for handling your daily activities. Nokia C1 Plus comes with a Quad-core processor running at 1.4GHz for maintaining the smooth functioning of applications. There is 1GB DDR3 RAM available along with 16GB onboard storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The operating system for this smartphone is Android 10 (Go edition).

Speaking about the connectivity, the Nokia C1 Plus supports a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, GPS along with 4G VoLTE. There is an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer and a proximity sensor included in this smartphone.

Nokia C1 Plus has a 5MP camera on the rear panel along with an LED Flash, for basic photography and on the front side, the device comes with a 5MP selfie shooter with Flash. Both the front and rear camera of the Nokia C1 Plus, support HDR.  

Nokia C1 Plus draws its power from a 2500 mAh removable battery, which makes use of the bundled charger for refilling at 5W via Micro-USB port. So, it implies that the Nokia C1 Plus will take around an hour and a half for a complete refill.

Nokia C1 Plus is a decent smartphone with basic features such as a decent screen and nice build quality, for carrying out your odd jobs. However, there are much better options available in the market with more battery backup, a large display and other specs at the same price point.
