According to Jio.com, the phone will be available to purchase at Rs. 4,499. You can get it for this price after exchanging any 4G feature phone or smartphone for Rs. 2,000. Buyers can also opt for Rs. 1,999 upfront payment and Rs. 500 process fee payment with the instalment option of 18-24 months.

The offer is available through Reliance Retail’s extensive network of JioMart Digital and Reliance Digital stores only. It looks like the exchange offer comes in after Jio lost over 1.2 crore users in 30 days. With this offer, Jio also aims to capture more users to its network through this JioPhone Next offer.

JioPhone Next Specifications

The affordable smartphone by Jio offers a 5.4-inch HD+ LCD display. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. We also get to see Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top alongside an anti-fingerprint coating. In terms of software, the budget device runs on Android 11 Go Edition with Pragati OS custom skin on top.

On the processor front, the JioPhone Next is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 SoC. This chipset is coupled with the Adreno 308 GPU. The processor and GPU pair up with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Further, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion.

For photos and videos, the JioPhone Next features a single 13-megapixel primary sensor with an LED flash. At the front, the budget handset sports an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The smartphone packs a 3,500mAh battery. We get a micro-USB port for charging and data transfer.
