Vivo was introducing Vivo Pad allegedly this January. While that didn’t happen. Vivo’s Vice President did mention the company’s plan to launch a tablet in the first half of next year. Back in June 2021, the Chinese smartphone company – Vivo obtained the Vivo Pad trademark for its first-ever Android tablet. Last month, the specifications and live images of the upcoming Vivo tablet allegedly had also appeared on the web. Read to know more about the upcoming Vivo Pad.
While Vivo Executive Vice President Hu Baishan confirmed about the tablet under development. The company won’t be the first under the BBK Electronics umbrella to introduce a tablet. Realme was the first from the BBK Electronics brand to have unveiled its tablet in September. Realme Pad came with a MediaTek Helio G80 chip. The tablet also had 4GB RAM, 64GB storage. It has an 8-megapixel camera at the front and back. It packed a 7,100mAh battery.

Vivo Pad: Specifications (Leaked)
Powered by the Vivo Pad could be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. Qualcomm Snapdragon comes on a 7nm fabrication process and is an improved version of Snapdragon 865+. With this processor, the Vivo Pad might go head to head against Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 5 Pro. DCS further claims that Vivo Pad might offer a software experience similar to the OriginOS for Fold.

Furthermore, Vivo Pad allegedly comes with an 8,000mAh battery unit. Unfortunately, the tipster hasn’t shared any other details about the upcoming Vivo tablet. However, we can expect the upcoming Vivo Pad allegedly to show up on other certification websites in the coming months as we approach its launch. Moreover, other than Tablets, Vivo is also expected to come into the foldable and laptop segment in 2022.
