It’ll now be a treat for the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy Tab 8 series users who will be able to brainstorm ideas while watching videos, taking their productivity to the next level. Samsung and Google came up with this Live Sharing feature on the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event.

What is live sharing?
To put it simply, it is a feature that is pivotal to people who needs to interpret or brainstorm during watching multimedia content. The live sharing feature offers the users of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Tab 8 series to view a video and also an online whiteboard. It can an essential tool to jot down one’s thoughts and ideas besides being able to use the whiteboard, the users can share these with each other in real-time. This will be pivotal to the people in academia as well as people who are working corporate jobs.

Who all are eligible?
The Android users who use have the Samsung Galaxy S22 series devices or the Galaxy Tab 8 series devices will be able to take advantage of the live sharing feature. Google has mentioned that Google Pixel users will also get this feature. However, it is not specified which edition of Google Pixel will get this feature. The users who don’t use the above-mentioned devices can view the shared content but can’t share themselves.

One up over Apple?
Google doesn’t offer YouTube support to Apple in its SharePlay app. YouTube is one of the largest video streaming apps and having its support in the Live Sharing feature will be a huge bonus over SharePlay.
