Samsung India has extended its free screen replacement program for Galaxy phones showing a green line on the display. Initially set to end on September 30, the offer now runs until December 31, 2024, but applies to a limited selection of devices. Eligible customers can avail of this offer at any Samsung service center, even for out-of-warranty devices, subject to specific terms and conditions. Samsung Free Screen Replacement Details Inside
There are certain conditions under which the free replacement is possible. The smartphone must not have any physical or water damage. Also, the smartphone must not be second hand. The original owner must have the device along with the original invoice.

Samsung Galaxy S21 , Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Samsung will replace the OCTA (On-Cell Touch AMOLED) assembly, along with offering free battery and kit replacements. While the parts will be replaced at no cost, customers will need to cover the labor charges for the repair. To avail of this offer, customers can schedule an appointment at their nearest authorized service center.
This isn’t the first instance of Samsung rolling out such an offer. Back in April, the company launched a special free screen replacement program in the country to address devices impacted by the green line issue on screens. Reports indicate that this problem has been primarily observed in Samsung smartphones with AMOLED displays, often following software updates.
