Realme appears to be working on its next-generation Realme 17 Pro series smartphones, as the first details about an upcoming device have surfaced online. The company launched the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ in January 2026, and their successors could bring significant hardware changes. According to a new leak, the upcoming handset could feature a 200-megapixel primary camera, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a massive 10,000mAh battery. The device could arrive as either the Realme 17 Pro or Realme 17 Pro Plus.
So, here is all we know about the Realme 17 Pro series specs.
Realme 17 Pro Series Specs: Display, Processor And Camera

The leaked Realme 17 Pro series specs suggest that the upcoming smartphone could offer several upgrades, particularly in battery capacity and camera hardware.

Here are the expected specifications:
- Display: Flat 1.5K OLED screen
- Refresh rate: 120Hz, with support for up to 165Hz in select games
- Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7500
- Main camera: 200-megapixel primary sensor
- Telephoto camera: 50-megapixel sensor with 3.5x optical zoom
- Ultrawide camera: Resolution not revealed
- Battery: 10,000mAh
- Frame: Plastic construction
- Camera design: Similar to the Realme 16 Pro+
The combination of a 200-megapixel primary camera and a dedicated 50-megapixel telephoto sensor could make the upcoming device an interesting option for mobile photography enthusiasts. The high refresh rate could also improve the gaming experience.
Realme 17 Pro Could Bring Major Changes Over Realme 16 Pro+
The leaked specifications suggest that Realme could make some important design and hardware changes compared to the Realme 16 Pro+.
The Realme 16 Pro+ features a curved display, an aluminium frame and a 7,000mAh battery. In comparison, the upcoming model could switch to a flat display, a plastic frame and a significantly larger 10,000mAh battery.
The chipset choice also raises questions about the device's final identity. The Realme 16 Pro+ uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, while the standard Realme 16 Pro features a plastic frame. Therefore, the Dimensity 7500 could indicate an upgrade to the standard model rather than the Pro+ variant.
Interestingly, the standard Realme 16 Pro does not include a telephoto camera. If the leak is accurate, its successor could receive a major camera upgrade.
Realme has not officially confirmed the Realme 17 Pro series launch date or specifications. More details should emerge as development progresses.
